It is sunny today after two days of rain.  There are two cruise ships in which brought about 5,000 people.  Since I do not have a set of wheels this summer I walked all of downtown Ketchikan this morning.  I went and walked Thomas Baison which is the harbor that is close by where I live.  The streets are packed with people that do not know where they are going so for a person like me who knows where they are going it is frustrating.  Later today I will probably ride my bike out to Mt. Point which is where the boat launch is out "south". I thought that our Fairbanks snow was frustrating on top of Granite Tors was bad but man does Deer Mtn beat that by a hundred percent you can't even make it to the first look out and you can't see the trees because they are still buried in snow.  My guess I won't get to hike until July.  I will add pictures later.
